It is a practical fit for families who want a building surface and storage in one package. The flip-over lid can start a build, then return to its storage role when play is finished.
Who should skip it
Skip it if your child wants a single building surface larger than the lid baseplate; the included surface measures 25×16 studs.

burgkidz Blocks Set: What the Design Means for Building
A broad mix for open-ended builds
The collection's classic bricks are joined by wheels, axles, doors, and windows, so children can move between simple structures and vehicle-inspired builds.
That variety provides different ways to use the pieces, though the set's appeal depends on whether the child enjoys open-ended construction.
The lid works as the starting surface
A baseplate built into the lid is convenient for getting started without setting up another surface. Its 25×16-stud area is also a defined boundary, so consider how much uninterrupted space the child typically wants for a project.
Storage is part of the play setup
The box is designed to hold the pieces after play, connecting cleanup to the same container used to bring out the set.
Its stated dimensions make it sensible to check shelf or cupboard space before choosing a permanent storage spot.
Check age guidance and intended play
For children age 3 and up, building play offers practice with fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, color and shape recognition, and problem-solving. Gift buyers can use the age guidance and the child's interest in construction as fit checks.
